Studio Director / Design Director, 2019–Present

  • Responsible for recruiting and growing the Chicago design department.

  • Mentor, motivate, and provide creative direction to the design team.

  • Client liaison and design lead for multiple national accounts.

  • Responsible for all phases of design from initial visioning and strategy through completion. Participant in strategy and implementation of proposal decks and pitch presentations.

  • Lead staff and team members in internal design charrettes of varying sizes.

  • Office leader and ongoing resource for Revit, Revit rendering, VR and panoramic renderings, Excel, and InDesign.

  • Created and lead a monthly forum for junior staff to share resources, present work to peers, and foster relationships between senior and junior staff.

  • Oversaw and assisted junior staff with internal office initiatives. (RFP template, ongoing library re-org, rotating Art Wall, Pitch Academy, trend forecasting)

  • Created and implemented firm wide InDesign template to be used for all outgoing presentations across all service lines to promote consistency and efficiency between offices.

  • “Champion” advocate to 5 junior and mid-level designers in Chicago and firm-wide mentor to 2 junior designers in San Francisco and Houston.

  • Chicago representative for firm-wide IA Reach philanthropy and volunteer committee.

  • Voted “2017 Rising Design Star” by Chicago DIFFA and design community members.
